Frankfurt Airport: where your chauffeur meets you – Terminal 1 & 2
Frankfurt Airport is one of the largest in Europe – and easy to get lost in on arrival. So the most common question before a transfer is: where exactly do I meet my chauffeur? This guide explains the meeting points at Terminal 1 and 2, how the welcome works, and what to keep in mind for arrival and departure.
Terminal 1: arrival and meeting point
Terminal 1 is used mainly by Lufthansa and the Star Alliance partners. After baggage reclaim you arrive in arrivals halls A, B or Z. Your chauffeur waits right at the exit of the arrivals area holding a name sign – you don’t search for anyone, you are received.
Terminal 2: arrival and meeting point
Terminal 2 (halls D and E) hosts many international airlines. Here too the driver meets you at the arrivals exit. The free Sky Line train runs between the terminals – if your vehicle is at the other terminal, your chauffeur accompanies you. In practice we confirm the meeting point in advance by message.
Meet & greet with a name sign
With meet & greet the chauffeur waits for you in person in the arrivals area, takes your luggage and leads you to the vehicle. Especially after a long flight, or with clients and guests, this welcome is the most relaxed start – no waiting area, no hunting for the car park.
Flight tracking: the pickup adjusts itself
Provide your flight number when booking. We monitor the flight and adjust the pickup automatically – whether the plane lands early or is delayed. Generous waiting time after landing is included in the fixed price, so passport control and baggage reclaim are never rushed.
Departure: drop-off and lead time
For departure your chauffeur brings you straight to the drop-off at the correct terminal. Allow around two hours for domestic and European flights and about three hours for intercontinental flights – your driver advises you on the ideal pickup time at home or the hotel based on traffic and time of day.
